Chef Marco Sacco’s travels will take you to a unique place suspended between the lake and the mountains, where time seems to have stopped.
In 2022, this 2-Michelin-star chef goes ashore to Il Verbano, the romantic hotel/restaurant located on Isola dei Pescatori, the smallest of the Borromeo Islands on Lake Maggiore, the only one still inhabited today.

Born of Chef Sacco’s bond with the lake and its surrounding territory, this project’s goal is to respect and enhance appreciation for the area.
This has been the objective chef Sacco has been working toward for three years with the Gente di Lago e di Fiume, an organization that safeguards the ecosystems of the river and the lake and conveys awareness through the community’s knowledge.
